A small Chinese noodle house, mainly Cantonese flavor. A nice place for a casual lunch. I like to have dumplings stuffed with pork, veggies and chives there.
Best 'hole in the wall' noodle/chinese place in the city. Fresh flavours and great options.
Good flavours with the variety of noodles plates that they cook on their menu. Go there often when I have cravings for spicy noodles!
Great atmosphere and food, nice quiet place.
Best Szechuan chicken I've ever eaten. The meal was an exceptional value as well as being excellent. The food was fresh, made-to-order, and served piping hot. The wait staff answered lots of questions before we dared to order. They were invariably polite and helpful.
Delicious food. Reasonable price. The dumplings are especially good.
Good Chao fun, good service
Great noodles, best in Chinatown!
My favourite noodle house
Very delicious and authentic noodle soups! Highly recommended.
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding!
Wonton soup.. unforgettable.
Nice noodle shop. Had the daily special, wonton soup, spicy won tons, and pork dumplings.
Came her today and was pretty much served by a stone-faced, less than enthusiastic waitress (to put it mildly). That alone was deterrent enough to NEVER come here again
I go to this noodle house regularly and just can't get enough. If you're looking for fine dining, this is not the place for you. But if you're looking for some delicious food at an awesome price, with a nice atmosphere...you need to eat here.
Felt Nasty after meal. Washrooms Not Sanitized.
The food was excellent - the garlic cucumber appetizer was incredible and the chow mein was the perfect comfort food. The servers were quite rushed because the place was packed, but I still give it a 5 star for quality and certainty of going back :)
Nice hole in the wall place. Food was cooked well but flavor profile was a bit lacking
Excellent little place for casual Asian dining! The prices are very good and the food is both plentiful and well-prepared. One thing I love, in particular, is that they also sell their noodles to the public for very reasonable prices ($6 for a large bag that generously feeds six people), which is nice for the home cooks amongst us. :)
Great food at exceptional prices. Very large selection of delicious dishes.
Brisket noodle dish was delicious. Wonton soup also good. Ask for chili sauce to spice it up.Came back for the wonton soup it was also good. Service a bit slower however.
The wontons were amazing!
Good prices, decent food. Wait-staff are very polite.
One of my favourite places for noodles in Victoria. Fresh veggies and good flavours. It gets pretty busy but worth it!
Excellent service, but the food lacked anything unique. Wonton BBQ pork soup was average. Miso ramen had a generous portion of noodles, but the egg was overcooked. Asked for a cold milk tea and I got lukewarm with floaty bits. The tea itself had no flavor.
Good place for a fast sit down Chinese meal. Prices are good and the food was decent as well. The service is a little slow since there was only one server and quite a few tables, but it wasn't hindering on our meal experience. Would definitely recommend this place as somewhere quick and easy for lunch
Fave dish here...wonton noodle soup with brisket (add veggie). Do yourself a favour and try one. Lovely people too. Hygiene is questionable but hey it's a 100+ year old building.
Tasty. Fast. Nice server. Good options from Ramen to Chinese dishes. Prices per dish around $12-15. Good place for lunch.
Nice quiet little place to stop for noodles. And free green tea! It would be nice if they changed up the music/dvd a bit. I've been there lots and they play the same concert on dvd every day. Totally not a problem just advice. Thanks for the great food!!
Prices are good and the food is solid but nothing special.
Great little place for soups and noodles. Good dumplings that have recently increased in price. But prices are still very reasonable. Excellent little hole in the wall overall. Decore is run down, but kind of adds to the charm of the place, jazz music and all.
So today I went here with a few of my coworkers and I got the Wor Wonton. It looked good at first but when I took a closer look at the chicken there were dead ants all around the chicken and also a few floating in the soup. Can't believe I have to make this review but I would like other people to know about my experience. Also this was my very first time going here and I will not come back.
Awesome place to eat. Food was really good
Excellent food and service! Will definitely be coming back
The Wor Wonton was delicious. Hands down the best I've ever had. Nice and clean place to eat and the waitress was a gem too! If you are ever in the area be sure to stop by and enjoy! Greetings from the USA!
Great! Good food at a good price. Portions are generous, and delicious. Atmosphere is relaxing, and staff is kind. Highly recommend this place, I can't wait to forget my lunch again!
Best noodle house in Victoria. Great in-house bbq duck.
Really good noodle place. I tried the miso ramen, coconut chicken noodle soup, shanghai noodle soup, and beef brisket noodle soup. Everything is delicious. Portions are large and very filling too.
Good gyoza, very good spring rolls (super crispy!) The pan fried gyoza arrived a bit charred, but it wasn't so burnt that it tasted burnt. There was one waitress in charge of everything (minus the cooking), so she was tense and impolite (understandable but not welcoming). It worsened the already cramped atmosphere. It's not a comfortable restaurant but the food was pleasant.
The wonton noodle soup was great
Located next to Fisgard grocery market. We ordered IKyu house special stir fried with chicken, shrimp, bbq pork and a delicious Won Ton (5) egg noodles soup but there's completely no vege(???). Also tried their Ramen noodles soup which comes in a large bowl. Free tea included. Bill total came to $32 for 2. Can't beat value for a fast lunch. Actually 3 items for 2 persons was too much to eat. Next visit 2 item will be suffice.
I ordered a brisket noodle and got disappointed. Its like an ordinary noodle that anyone could make at home. Definitely not worth the price. Its not that flavorful compared to other brisket noodle made by their competitor (also along fisgard). Also I feel like they didn't cook the vegetables, cuz its too hard.
Generous portions
Super yummy!
Beef Wonton Noodle soup is a must-try! The noodle and wontons are handmade and the best I've ever tried.
Went today with my fiancé.Place is quiet and unassuming it’s not a stand out place but the food is OUTSTANDING! Hand made noodles, NO msg and the dumplings all hand made and to die for. Service was also great, friendly staff (waitress). I highly recommend this gem. True authentic noodles! Not your NoodleBox garbage. I was referred here and look forward to returning. A+++☺️
First time eating ramen, absolutely loved this. I ordered the miso Ramen and it was amazing. Service is great, prices are great.
Best wor won ton in town! In-house ramen noodles are worth taking home for your own meals.
I wouldn't risk eating here unless you want to spend the rest of your night VERY close to a bathroom.
Really hardworking staff and amazing food. Must try
